  • Sunday, May 12 marked the first day on the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities was below major flood stage since March 23rd. That’s 51 days- a record-breaking number!
  • If you had dreary weather on Sunday, May 12, we’re not surprised. There was 3600 mile-long cloud cover stretching from Iowa to ⅔ of the way to Europe!
  • Tuesday, May 14 was the first time (ever) that the Storm Prediction Center issued ‘severe’ weather in every day of it’s extended outlook.
  • Downtown Los Angeles, CA received .48” of rain on Thursday, May 17, which isn’t only a daily record, but nearly double the city’s average rainfall for the entire month of May, which is .26”!
