Clearly, there is vertical development, but the prominent patch of white is more representative of the horizontal than the vertical; which means it's not attached to a gray cloud. The bases of the gray clouds are probably in part composed of water. To the left, vertical development has created a wispy turret and protuberances. The temperature reached 65 F.
